Power Flushing

Over the years magnetite (black iron oxide) is produced inside the central heating system. This is produced as a result of chemical reactions between different metals (ie. copper, steel, cast iron) in the system.

Using the latest water sampling equipment we are able to determine how dirty the system is before work starts and when all the debris etc is cleared from the system.

This is essential because of the following:

• Existing debris is often mobilised by alterations to piping etc
• High efficiency boilers are more susceptible to debris in the water.

• Many older systems contain excessive corrosion and debris in the water even  though problems / symptoms have not shown themselves.
