Gas Safe and Corgi recommend that all gas boilers and fires should be serviced at least once a year. This includes new appliances that carry a manufacturer’s warranty.

Regular servicing helps ensure that your appliance works safely and efficiently, and helps prolong the life of an appliance.

In simple terms a service from Twenty Four Seven includes

• Visual examination of the appliance and its flue to confirm that it is suitable located and installed in accordance with all relevant regulations
• Examination and cleaning of the burner and heat exchanger
• Boiler electrics checked and tested
• Burner pressures tested and set
• Inlet pressure tested
• Condensate trap cleaned
• Home tightness test
  
• Flue gas analaysis test - to ensure all readings are correct
  
• Confirmation that the appliance is in a safe working operation

Properly installed appliances that are checked as per the manufacturer’s instructions should be safe.
